Mother's play an important role in each society. They are comforters during a difficult time in life. An advisor of excellent advice on difficult life decisions. Comforter when a child is sick or injured. However, there are other aspects to being a mother.

Robert Louis Stevenson viewed love as, "The essence of love is kindness". Both love and kindness were learned from our mother in her every day actions. She often set the foundations for the feelings that we feel each day in sharing them with our own families and future generations to come. In essence, it sets the foundation of our lives yet to come.

To Barbara Bush, "To us, family means putting your arms around each other and being there". She is always there for us in either giving us praise, comfort, or personal advice. She always knows the right action to be taken at the right time.

As John F. Kennedy once said, "It takes two to make peace". She is the peace keeper in the family. She helps find what is needed to keep the harmony in the house many times among her children. She knows how to be a mediator to resolve conflicts among us.

As Corita Kent once said, "Flowers grow out of dark moments". She helps bring comfort and assurance during the dark moments within our lives. Often, she provides a thoughtful idea or advice to help us move forward when all else seems impossible.

A mother has many roles in a child's life during childhood and adulthood. It is the wisdom passed down through the ages to each generation.
