1 pound (16 ounces) of lean ground beef (15% or less)
1 medium tomato cut into 4 thick slices
4 low calorie hamburger rolls or buns
4 slices of 1% or skim milk American cheese
1 uncooked small onion cut into four equal pieces
4 slices of lettuce
1 packet of dried french onion soup
Ketchup
Mustard
8 pickle chips
In a mixing bowl, combine the hamburger and the contents of the french onion soup packet. Cook for 10 minutes per side. Separate the hamburger buns
or rolls into a top or bottom half. On the top half place the tomato, lettuce, and 2 pickle chips.
Add mustard and ketchup to taste. Serve.
